Fortunately the rain held off, but was blustery at times. However all the events were completed including speed and we all had a good days flying.
Mick Castell was very unfortunate as he suffered a control failure in his first flight and had engine problems in the second.
Brian Waterland was even less fortunate in Peacemaker as his CS Oliver broke a conrod in practice.

Judge, Ian Russell.
On arrival there was some doubt as to run the event due to the rain and wind, fortunately by mid morning the rain stopped briefly and 3 rounds were completed with hardy a break so as to get the competition completed, despite the showers.
Unfortunately entries were down due to a clash with a Centralised meeting, but it still proved to be a good days competition.
